Kingdom Groups and Planning Center Groups.
Both give small groups a place to organize. They are built from different starting points: Planning Center from the church's system, Kingdom Groups from the group.
Details about other products were checked in October 2026, from their own sites.
Planning Center Groups
Planning Center Groups is one product in Planning Center's church management suite, alongside its people database, services, giving, and more. It is set up and administered by the church, and it is priced by the number of people in a church's groups, with a free tier for small numbers. See planningcenter.com/pricing for current prices.
If your church already runs on Planning Center and wants groups inside its church-wide system, Planning Center Groups is likely the natural fit.
Kingdom Groups
Kingdom Groups is built around the group. Each group gets its own private home, set up by its own leader in about five minutes, and the church does not have to adopt anything centrally. It is not a member database or a giving platform, and it does not connect to Planning Center.
What it adds for the group itself: a prepared study for every chapter of the Bible, with sessions that plan themselves across your meetings and reflow when the group falls behind; a daily study question in the group chat; and a prayer board, events, and a gallery. It is $10 a month per group.

Questions people ask
- Does Kingdom Groups integrate with Planning Center?
- No. Kingdom Groups works on its own, group by group, alongside whatever system your church uses.
- Can some of our groups use Kingdom Groups and others not?
- Yes. Each group is set up and billed on its own, so there is nothing to adopt church-wide.
- How much does it cost?
- $10 a month per group, for the whole group, with every feature and unlimited members. The first 30 days are free with no card, and you can cancel anytime. A paused group's content is kept for at least 6 months, with two email reminders before anything is removed.
