Listing your group

1. 1Go to Admin → Discovery and turn on your public listing.
2. 2Write a warm, honest description: who the group is for, when you meet, what to expect.
3. 3Optionally open specific eventsto the public, so there is a first thing someone can come to. They show on your group’s public page, under Open events from this group.

Your public page has its own link: share it on your church’s site, in a bulletin, or in a text. It is also listed on Find a group. Your private life stays private, and only what you choose to publish is ever visible.

Interested people send an inquiry, which lands in your Discovery inbox. Reply, get to know them, and send an invite when it’s a fit.

Or let people in without asking first: under How new people join, choose Anyone can join. Your public page then has a Join this group button, and whoever uses it becomes a member as soon as they confirm their email, and sees what members see, including prayer requests. The link shows in Members → Invitesas “Public listing,” with a count of who joined. Switch back to Ask first and the button and link stop working; anyone who already joined stays.
